I have bought many Canon grips over the years and have been happy with all of them. This handle is no exception. This grip is very comfortable to hold and has the great build quality you've come to expect from Canon. The contours of the grip follow the shape of the 5D Mark IV body very well. My only complaint (as others have pointed out) is that the battery compartment is weak to say the least. It's nothing like the battery compartments in other Canon grips. It's made of thin, shiny plastic that bends very easily. Putting the batteries in feels like a random thing - it's hard to "feel" when they're installed properly. Even the slight pressure required to insert or remove can break the tablet. This is my reason for giving it one star, but since most of my interactions with the grip are NOT with the battery compartment, I still think it warrants four stars. It doesn't come with the AAA tray that other grips have, but I never needed it anyway. If you're close enough to a store to buy AAA batteries, then you're probably close enough to an outlet to charge your LP-E6Ns.
