The switch caught fire and broke!
approx. 3 months in use. The base is small and smooth, so it is difficult to stretch. One of them kept breaking the circuit and generating electric smoke. So I did some research and both connections were pretty solid. I took this unit out and no problems with the outlet or lightbulb. It works fine without. I took the initiative and threw them all away.
