Failure or not what I expected.

Perfect for my friend's fireplace. I bought it as a present for Christmas. And it looks good where it is, the heating works well. BUT there is no flame, it's just a red charcoal that looks like red charcoal, either mine is broken or it doesn't have a (wrong) flame. Red under the coals. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to use it for lighting. If it weren't for a gift I've already given I would definitely ask for a refund or possibly a replacement if it's just defective.
