I feel stupid when I see that.
.but I lived in New Orleans where King Cake rules during Mardi Gras. It seems real porcelain "babies" no longer exist. Porcelain babies can be added to the cake BEFORE baking (porcelain doesn't melt), but with plastic you'll have to wait until they're done. never mind. But I liked the detail (crown) more than just a naked baby. But I gave the baby to friends in pieces, and you can't ask for it back. So buy a few if you're making multiple cakes!
