I bought these clips to use outside on my patio. I wasn't sure how well they would stick to painted wood and aluminum trim, but I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! They hold a not very light outer appendage. Out of the 35 I've used only 2 had any sticking issues and I'm pretty sure it's because the temperature dropped a lot. Some even stood in the rain for days and still held on. I definitely recommend trying them out!
