I am so impressed with them. They are of excellent quality and feel very durable. They're not cheap plastic. It's a durable plastic with some weight. Every moving part is smooth, but not lame. For example, you can extend the boom of an excavator and it stays in place. The joints feel like they're going to last. The wheels impressed me the most. They are made of the same durable plastic. You don't have to be "pulled back" to get them to move forward like most people do. You just gently push forward or backward and the trucks will take off on their own. It was a small extra gift I received and it became a favorite Christmas toy for both the 10 month old and the 3 year old.
