Purchased for Pioneer 1TB NVME Gen 3 to use on my PS5 for PS4 gaming as an external. I can format my nvme and get it recognized on PC on Windows 10, but on PS5 it's unrecognizable and causing loading issues on console, resulting in database restore notifications. Luckily I just turn off the PS5, remove the outer case and boot up and the PS5 is fine. This package also causes boot problems on PC and causes desktop boot delays beyond MB BIOS splash screen. I suspect it has to do with the controller in this case. Bought a sabrent nvme USB-C case (non-Thunderbolt version) to test and this case worked fine on PS5, but then again you get what you pay for - the sabrent case is almost double the price. Again decent on PC but hardware compatibility isn't very good.
