Works as advertised when used correctly.

I think the key to this product is knowing where to place it in the HDMI I/O chain for your setup. It should be as close to the source as possible. I use it with a pigtailed HDMI cable connected to the source (an Onkyo HDMI surround receiver) and then connect the output to the display with a long HDMI cable. This solved a number of issues with no problems.
