This thing is a fully stretched out beast.

Okay, I like bowls and wide feet. I wanted a tripod that would fit a 100mm dish. This one does. I ordered that. I have a few other tripods, even the Leofoto 364cl. It's great too and it's an upgrade on my RRS and cheap IFootage at the same size and level. iFootage has an issue that has been driving me crazy. Bubble level at the top of the 75mm mounting plate where it is not visible after mounting the head. In any case, I wanted higher. This thing is massive. I'm not sure if this is the tallest tripod, but it's definitely outside the norm, and I'm 6ft 2" tall and it's about a foot above my eye level. Great for climbing over other people's heads. It is extremely durable and relatively small when folded. The weight isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it a touring tripod. There's a quick release strap and a mount that allows you to hang your iPad or phone on one of the legs for a better view of the frame. It's good, and with the size of the legs, it really holds the weight. Now a 100mm bullet. just wow. This is a huge platform. The spirit level is offset sideways so you can still level the head after installation. Makes me think about converting my other LeoFoto to 100mm. Just balance your head. 100mm bullet vs 75mm bullet is way more than I thought. Huge difference. In any case. Many of the tripods I bought for the upgrade were fine. Although it really was an upgrade, but only a little. This is one of those ones that I look at and just smile. like anywhere near that size and all features are great. Legs work great. Spins work well. The adjustments are smooth. The only thing he needs are longer spikes as they are the standard size Small. Really great tripod and an amazing deal for the money.
