I installed this flashlight in a closed chest to charge glow-in-the-dark toys. I kept this light within 6 inches of the toys for several hours. The glow was dim and not very bright and didn't last long. I had to turn the toy over to charge the other side and when the other side started glowing, the original side was dark again. I have charged these items with a UV flashlight and they are very bright! But I wasn't prepared to hold a flashlight in front of her for an hour. I was hoping this light bar would be the best solution, but it's clearly very weak. Good for GITD parties and such, but don't buy it to charge glowing toys, it's not powerful enough.
