I bought this item as a replacement and for some reason it won't stay on. There is an indicator built into the cable to tell you there is power when it's not connected to the laptop, which in my case is a bit misleading as the capacitors in the box keep the light on despite no power to the box flows for some time without real power. But when you're connected to the laptop, you can see when the power comes and goes for no particular reason. I have returned this item and am waiting for a refund. I have since ordered another stone from the same company. Maybe I'll have better luck this time.
