There are no complaints about the quality of the product. I installed this in my 2017 Volt. Accessing the filter behind the glove box was painful. I had to undo 5 screws and pry off the panel hoping not to break it. Once this is done, installing the filter is very easy. Just make sure you place it in the correct orientation. Then you have to pack everything. So probably 15 minutes of work the first time, maybe 10 minutes for follow-up work. In contrast, the cabin filter I installed on our 2009 Sienna took about 30 seconds. The glove box is held in place by a simple friction fit. Pinch the sides and gently pull out, and the cabin filter is right in front of you. ZERO tools are not required. I spent more time looking up the manual on how to do it than actually did. So thank you Toyota for making this a VERY easy task. Punch GM in the head for making it so difficult.
