Indeed, this is a very worthy, well-done detail.
I used it on my KTM 890 Adventure R to mount a ram mount base for a tablet I use for navigation. This is a standard AMPS hole pattern, so any accessory with an AMPS hole pattern will mount straight up. Fit and finish are good. This is exactly what I needed without spending too much money.
