I heard so much about this straightener that I had to buy it. I usually blow dry or blow dry with straighteners and curling irons. After using it over and over for a few minutes, my hair was still wavy. My hair is naturally wavy (curler closer to the face) and I don't dye it. I've noticed that since I stopped coloring it and it's grown up now, it doesn't take the heat that well, so that might be the reason. However, I heated it up to 430 degrees while I set it to 360 degrees with my regular flat iron. It didn't help and was actually releasing vapor (or smoke?) when I put it on. I'm not saying it won't work for others, but it didn't work for me the way I hoped.
