Review on Leak-Proof 2-Quart Rubbermaid Carafe (1878491) with Lid by Aaron Lewis

I love this carafe. I use it for hot brewing iced tea. I brew tea in a Pyrex measuring cup and then pour it into this carafe, add sugar and water. I can cap it and shake it to stir the sugar and it doesn't leak! Holding the 2 spout lids and the lid with one hand and the base with the other hand, I shake it over the sink. Until it flows I also like the shape, I can easily place my big hand with a sponge to clean it. Haven't tried the dishwasher yet and it's too high for the top shelf. It seems a bit flimsy for the bottom shelf, but that suggests it's dishwasher safe. This carafe is easy to pour and hold thanks to its hourglass shape. I like that it's plastic so I'm not worried about it breaking. It also has a 2 liter mark, which helps with measuring. Doesn't take up much space in the fridge either. I had no problems opening it. The lid and spout fit snugly to prevent spills, but it's not difficult for me to open.
