Review on πŸ•°οΈ REACTOR 73801 Gryphon Watch Rubber: Sleek and Durable Timepiece for Everyday Adventures by Jim Ledbetter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If I lose it, I'll immediately buy another one.

This replaced my Luminox 3151. So my requirements were: 1) brightness 2) durability 3) legible analog dial 4) date but no day. This watch gets a 10 for 1 and 2 and 8 for face legibility, which is really subjective. The date is in the 6th position in the picture, but it is in the 3rd position on my watch. The watch is strong but not heavy. The size is perfect for my small wrist and the strap is very comfortable. The luminosity is really smart; There are typical luminous dots on the dial and tritium dots are 12-3-6-9 and hands. So when the glow dims in brightness, you have tritium. Brilliant. My only complaint is that the screw-down crown feels twisted and there is a 0.5mm gap between the case and the crown. I think it's fine, and I don't remember if it was there before I unscrewed it to set the time and date. The only other downside is that the case material on the sides looks a bit cheaper than the rest of the watch. Again, no big deal.
