Review on Universal Car Phone Holder: Air Vent Mount for iPhone 13, iPhone 12, Galaxy, LG, and All 4-6.7Inch Phones by Brian Martin

I've been using this phone holder in my car for a few weeks now and am very happy with it! I have a Galaxy A52 in an Otterbox Symmetry case with a pop socket on the back for reference. First, installing the holder wasn't difficult. I attached it to the air vent on the right side of the handlebar in a few minutes. I had no problems with the phone detaching, slipping or dropping forward - it stays firmly in place! Second, I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox and the vent I installed it on has top-to-bottom louvers that don't rotate much. Before installing it, I was a bit worried about being able to position the phone at a good angle. Actually I had no problems and the mount doesn't slip on the fins. It's also far enough from the vent that it doesn't block the air coming out of the vent too much so I can still feel the heat and air conditioning. Next, the way the bottom of the holder is open allows me to plug in the charging cable when needed without interfering with the phone's fit. It's a nice little extra detail! Finally my phone slides in and out easily. I was able to adjust it to fit exactly. When my pop socket is closed, my phone doesn't fall all the way into the holder because the socket touches the middle part on the back of the holder and prevents it from falling further. But if I open the slot halfway, the phone can slide out and get stuck on the bottom of the mount. It's definitely stuck. I'm so glad I have this holder! It keeps my phone at eye level for navigation and lets me see at a glance if a message or call is coming from someone important. Before that my phone was mostly in the cup holder on the center console which didn't work very well when I needed map navigation! Now I feel much calmer.
