Learn from my mistake and just buy them the first time and save money. I risked $30 and wasn't entirely satisfied. The first key difference is that Staun deflators deflate much more quickly, primarily because they "click" immediately upon reaching the set pressure. In contrast, the cheaper ones just get narrower, so the less air coming out of the narrower one, it lasts longer. I blew all 4 tires from 35 PSI to 18 PSI in about 5 minutes. This includes taking the valve caps off and putting them back on when you're done. Others average 15 minutes. So yes, they eventually work, but they need to be played around with. The Staun kit came from the factory to reduce the pressure to 18psi, which in my case is perfect for my stock non-bead lock tires. I had to install the rest because every PSI is different. Of course, if your target PSI isn't 18 PSI or whatever comes pre-installed on other models, you still need to install them all. Visually, both sets look essentially the same, but there is a distinct difference in their mechanics.
