Review on πŸ”— Toscoco 1/8" T316 Stainless Steel Cable for Deck Railing: Marine Grade, 300FT Wire Rope Cable with Cutter by James Bull

Revainrating 5 out of 5

good cable Like the tailor.

I am using this stainless steel cord to replace some of my old galvanized steel clothes lines that have started to rust slightly on my clothes. I tried sanding the part with steel wool but the next day when I sanded it it was even rustier. I have high humidity here in Hawaii. It turns out that stainless steel cable is a lot easier to manage, looks a lot better and doesn't kink! All pluses. I used to use a chisel and hammer on a steel plate to cut the cables, damaging the ends. The included cutting tool is amazing. He cut the cable so cleanly and with very little effort. It's about 8 inches long and easily fits in my tool belt pouch. There's nothing cheap about it. my next job will be on a high ladder to install a stainless steel cable for shading. I was thinking of testing it on an old galvanized steel cable, but since I plan to only use stainless steel cable I didn't want to risk scratching the cutter. The only problem I had was that the cutter would not open, until I drew it. I tried light oil but it made no difference. I just cracked the nut a bit where the tool turns and it was completely free. Very happy with this cable and cutter.
