I didn't like these boots! My 4 year old has outgrown his sorels I bought him last year so he needed a new pair of winter boots and I saw these and thought they were cute so thought I'd save a few bucks and buy these instead! They were really weird in person, the velcro straps on the side were sticking straight out and not exactly on the boot so were very uncomfortable! Also, the velcro on the boots didn't open low enough so I had a really hard time getting them on my boy's feet! Also, the velcro on one of the boots was completely covered with the inner fur of the boots, making it look like it was out of the sack. Also worth noting that the size 11c we ordered did NOT have fold out metal spikes as many reviews showed! I understand they are not shown in the photos or mentioned in the description, but of all the reviews that show and account for this feature of these boots, one of the main things that drew me to them was rather than another $5 spending on sorels (which we loved!) Also the boots we received didn't look anything like the photos, the photos show MUCH more gray in the black pair than they actually look in person! All in all it was a decent quality boot for the price, especially compared to the character boots you buy in the big department stores, but it didn't have those metal handles on the bottom and that huge, ugly, weird Velcro strap. that stuck out instead of fitting snugly in the trunk. I returned them and spent a few bucks more on larger Sorel boots, we are MUCH happier with them! These are by far the highest quality snowshoes you can buy for young children. Can't wait for our 2 year old to fit into the old pair of Sorails we have in our closet!
