From all the conflicting reviews I've read online and on Revain, I was very concerned about this project. I'm new when it comes to bikes and tools. I've never dealt with a car, let alone a motorcycle. However, with a YouTube video and some confidence I was able to get this done in about 1-1.5 hours. My advice is to watch the YouTube video first and then watch it again while you do this, pausing the video in the process. You will get to some tricky details like you have to attach 2 nuts behind bolts but I was able to figure it out and thank goodness I ordered a Workpro tool box. He came with everything I need. Money well spent! Overall, the guards look great and feel high quality. I hope I never have to test them.
