I can't deny it. I liked their advertising campaign. This wildly conceited hipster throws classic jokes for a full 5 minutes. I went through all the ads while looking for specs and ratings. The ANC's flagship status seemed like the real deal. Fight Club ended up killing me by ranting about the futility of advertising in today's world - IN THEIR ADVERTISING. The snake of meta-analysis devouring its own history. What not to love. You should have your things together. I hit the buy button and waited until my high expectations for sound quality and noise cancellation were met by an upstart that outclassed its weight class. I mean -40 dB! Earplugs are usually around -30 dB. Drivers and sound quality are excellent. There was no noticeable change in audio quality between ANC on and off. They sound really good in passive mode. They did their homework and the drivers are great. They are viable replacements for studio monitors or other applications that require high fidelity, flat response curves, and good tonal separation. Noise canceling doesn't really match in my opinion. I'll never forget the first time I plugged in my Bose A20, set my headset, pressed the ANC button, and then frantically checked all the plane's sensors for 10 seconds, thinking the engine had just stalled. I fully expected the flagship ANC to meet or exceed that bar, but no. They're doing road works now and the ANC blocks some of the low-frequency noise up to about 30Hz, but beyond that they don't block that much. I could hear every sawmill, hammer blow, and horn roughly as if the headphones were off. I figured my Bose QC20s would be better when trying to sleep in the back of an airplane. But hey, they're wireless! I may have come for the ANC but I may stay for the WiFi. I connected them to my phone and they were decent. The audio has a noticeable lag, but I still wanted to hook it up to my W10 machine with aptX. Eventually I pressed enough keys to connect them and they connected to AptX LL. Perfect - exactly what I wanted but no sound. Check all the settings on your computer - yes, it should work. No - no sound. Switch to SBC - sure - works. Let's go back to aptX LL - nothing. Okay - has anyone stumbled upon this - check out the questions in the Revain list. nope This and almost no question is actually answered. I'll post a question and pause and answer a few. The next step is the product support website. I have 3 tabs - SHOP, ABOUT COMPANY, CONTACTS. search them all - no, there is no support. Google some looking for a firmware update - no. Check the Play Store for the app - no. Find a contact email address, send them a question and wait. The next day I find myself looking at her. I want to love you, just give me a reason. Do they fold and are they small? No, in a travel case they are like a pancake, they even thought that they would add up. sound quality? No, I wouldn't trade them for my V-Modas. ANK? I've had better travel options and they don't cut a jackhammer like an earplug. aptx? Tried 3 other Windows computers - no sound when connecting aptX. Say aptX in your ad. Maybe they'll fix it with a later firmware update, but there's no mention of a firmware update on the support page. Maybe support will help me - but a day has passed and I haven't even seen a confirmation that they received my letter. With sadness. I put them back in the Amazon box and took them to UPS. This is a brave try. I applaud you when you score above your weight class. Your marketing is really brilliant and has high expectations, then you fall a few inches behind in almost every category. But hey, if your product was perfect when it was released, you've waited too long. Later that day I received a response from the support team. They asked for my order number even though I asked about codec compatibility. I explained to them that they were in the mail.
