These cables were a huge improvement over my previous cables. I switched to them from what I thought were decent 14g cables. But due to lack of space I needed spade connectors instead of banana plugs and used these 12g cables instead. After installation, I found that the high frequencies were noticeably smoother and less harsh. Yes, and the overall dynamics seemed stronger, denser. I was usually skeptical about how very simple cables can affect the sound of a system, but changed my mind after trying them. Maybe not enough to spend $$$ on cable, but enough to try out some of the cheaper options.
