I understand the back of the monitor is slightly curved and was never designed with VESA in mind hence this adapter. So I can accept that the performance can be a bit questionable. The problem is that when I tilt the monitor up or down you can feel a strong flex in the mount. You have to push the monitor further than you want (because the arm will flex) and then release it to allow the arm to stop and your monitor may or may not be where you want it to be. Just a very sloppy/bandy feel. And it comes into contact with the paste on the back of the monitor when I gently press it to tip it up and will probably leave marks on the plastic at some point unless I put some foam or felt inside. But it works to save this monitor. on a VESA compatible stand. And Dell's real problem with not making the monitor compatible with Vesa at all.
