This is my first stabilizer of any kind and I am very happy with it. I took it on a trip to capture better quality video from the camera and was not disappointed. I think it's a great value. Pros: - Works as expected and keeps the camera still when moving, walking and panning - Quiet motors - Excellent battery life - Handy joystick to correct/adjust movements - Phone app allows additional control over some settings e.g. B. how fast individual axes should converge, where you want the camera to be when panning (speed "follows") etc. The camera could do with some improvement - replacing a dead battery in the camera is not a quick process and reattaching the mount can be a particularly tricky task (hold the gimbal, camera and mount with one hand and try to screw the screw into the mount with the other hand - there should be an easier way) - turning the on or off of the Gimbals lasts a few seconds by holding the power button; I wish the switch was either a slider or just a faster one. I made the mistake of assuming that the on/off button doubles as a remote shutter release for the camera (because it has a red dot painted on it) without verifying that this is actually the case. It would be great if this were the case - the manual doesn't mention this. If anyone knows how to get this gimbal button to work with a GoPro Hero 5/6 as a capture button for example, please share! There is also an undocumented mini-USB port on the mount. Having learned my lesson about assumptions, I *don't* assume that charging the camera via the gimbal while in use is the issue. If it's really for that, someone needs to point me to an adapter that's a mini-USB male connector on one end and USB-C on the other.
