Review on Samsung Odyssey 27" Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync, QHD 2560x1440P Display and Adaptive Sync Technology by Robert Reyes

The single-function menu button is inconvenient for the user

Overall I really like this monitor. The picture quality is amazing. The main gripe I have is the only function key. It would be nice if the monitor was on. However, this also doubles as an on/off switch. In case the engineers didn't know or forgot, the OSD doesn't appear when the monitor is off. Another issue is the stand designed for this monitor. To turn on this monitor, you need to press the button once, tilt it forward once, and then press the button again. At the best of times it's inconvenient, at other times you'll be rocking and pressing the button like you're mining bitcoin. The monitor must have a separate power switch. Are you sure you want to mount this monitor and not use the included stand? While the stand is working, you will notice STRONG monitor shake due to the weight and position of the stand at the bottom rear. Personally, I think that when buying monitors larger than 28 inches, you really need to provide a sturdier center stand. Overall this is still a good buy for the price. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend the monitor. Just be aware of the one button issue.
