Most of them worked fine
I bought several kits for my DJ kit and after a full hour of mixing I found that one of them wasn't working properly which resulted in my mix in was recorded in mono. I wasn't happy with that. I removed the adapter and re-recorded in stereo. The other 4 pairs I bought worked great. .Could have been an accident.
