I have tested all five alarms and also checked the light on each. Everything worked. The sound could be activated simply by pulling the stylus, and reinserting the stylus will stop the alarm. It doesn't look like it accidentally got into your pocket or purse. The pin that activated the alarm was easy to remove, but didn't seem easy enough to pull out when not expected. Each comes with an extra clasp that you can add or remove. I have my alarm system attached to a keychain with several keys and carry it in my pocket without any problems. I have given one to my wife and will be giving one to our daughter and maybe also to the nanny who looks after our young grandchildren for our daughter and son in law when they are working.
