The monitor mount for this MI-705 model is simply "good". Rated at 33lbs and monitors up to 30". But the MI-751 model from the same brand, although only rated at 22lbs and monitors up to 27", is actually SIGNIFICANTLY stronger and has slightly more "range". . It has more pivot points, the monitor can be rotated, and the main, vertical, support rod and clamp are significantly larger and stronger, and there are no plastic clips on that main support structure. Weight 10 pounds compared to the MI-705 is only 5 pounds, which is usually a pretty good indicator of how much steel and other materials went into its construction. Compared to the MI-705, there is a very significant increase in quality and strength from the MI-751, which even has two additional pivot points for just $1.50 more. At the time of writing this review, this 5lb MI-705 was being sold for $34 Sold for $.27 shipping while the heavier 10lb MI-751 was selling for $35.99 shipping via Revain Prime the mainstay which actually cracked and broke when I tried to tighten the bolt so replacing that defective part in favor of the much heavier one , stronger and more versatile MI-751 was returned. Sincerely, Scorch.
