Benefits: Loop for hanging. This speaker would be difficult to fit on a shelf, but the large hanging loop makes it easy to hang almost anywhere. It's large and flexible enough that you can pull it back out for a secure connection for use on a boat or other bumpy conditions. Battery life. Perfect. I use it in the shower for about ten minutes every day and it lasts for months. Sound quality: Very good for conversations. I don't use it for music, so I can't comment on the quality of the music. Controls: This is one of the few speakers that can run the Google Assistant, and that's the function I bought it for. I'm always thinking about what I do in the shower ("buy more shampoo”) and now I can add them to my list right now. ". "Great" I thought, "as long as this charge lasts it will last for a few more weeks." HA. After a minute it started beeping every 20 seconds. I've lost the logic behind it "This is a shower speaker. The battery won't drain towards the end of western civilization and I won't put it in the shower. The 20% warning was great. And there's literally no scenario where the shower speaker goes on every 20 Seconds as a low battery alarm it should beep. It also didn't pause my media during those beeps so I just skipped the content but hard to see. Would be better if the patterns on it (+/-/etc) were in color. It takes an absurdly long press of about six seconds to turn off the speaker.
