NO DYSON PART! NOT OE or OEM! I ordered this after my original Dyson foam started to break down after 5 years of use. When it arrived I found it wasn't Dyson quality. I have no idea why they call it "for life" when the paper that came with it says it needs to be replaced annually, ie every year. So just for a year? Dyson costs twice as much but lasts at least 5 times longer. Yeah, that doesn't really work for me. I put it in my vacuum and it seemed to work fine. I ordered another Dyson filter to replace with this one.
