I bought these shorts because I wanted athletic shorts that were closer to the knee than mid-thigh like most women's athletic shorts. Most of the time I really like them! They only come up a few inches above my knee for my 5ft 7in height, they are really comfortable and look quite stylish. My only two complaints are that some of the shorts tend to bunch up around the squat area that tends to inflate. This area looks unattractive and you can see through the white shorts. If you have pale skin, you may also faintly see the skin underneath your shorts. In my opinion these shorts are worth the most (especially at this price point). Just avoid wearing white shorts in public and I would recommend wearing long shirts that cover the mid-squat area in case you get a pair. it crashes like mine.
