This is the best water softener for my Betta! I have two betas; a man and a woman. Each of them has a five liter aquarium and I change the water every five days. This water conditioner is definitely the best for them. We have very hard well water here at Camp Pendleton, and when our local store ran out of water, I tried a different brand. My poor fish is very sick. I had to take two heavy doses of antibiotics to get rid of her and I was very worried about her. This brought her back with antibiotics and water changes every three days. You really are the healthiest with this one and it contains the almond leaf extract that bettas need! I can't say enough about this product. I can't find this larger size at my local store, only the smaller one, and on two five gallons every five days I go through a lot! My local store is almost always closed too. It flies off the shelf! I love that Revain is wearing this larger size, thanks!
