Primitive electronics lose ALL programming with every battery change.

Primitive electronics lose ALL programming with every battery change. In fact, I switched from the wireless to the wired version. You may find that many bike lights cause electromagnetic interference with wireless bike computers. This wired computer REALLY solved that problem. Shockingly, this 2019 device has no non-volatile memory. It only takes 32-64 bytes to store your data. Each time you change the battery, you must re-enter the tire size information. Your total mileage (odometer) will be lost if you don't record it after each ride. Poorly designed mount, Cateye knows how to make it better. Tedious installation with double-sided tape and cable ties. A properly designed cateye mount is shown below: There was barely enough cable. Half an inch too short and I couldn't complete the install. The computer works normally, with the above defects. How can this product be improved? 1) Provide a better attachment mechanism that doesn't use cable ties. non-volatile memory bit, so the computer does not have to be reprogrammed every time the battery is changed. 3) Backlight. To combat skin damage, I drive a lot at night. 4) A guide in the form of a brochure instead of a huge (like a map) sheet of paper. If this device had the above qualities, I would happily pay 4 times the price.
