Wow. We have been making movie props and costume replicas as a hobby for quite some time. I tried some homemade glowing lenses for my MK5 helmet. Nothing comes close to this. Due to the flexibility of the material, it is very easy to incorporate into a face mask. It was also very easy to get a haircut. The ease of shaping and trimming doesn't mean it's fragile. This is a silicone material with a thickness of 3/16 to 1/8. The wiring also seems to be well connected. You can clearly see through them when they're off, but if you turn them on in a dark room it's hard to see anything. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. My only recommendation is to sell the version without the battery box as I cut mine off to connect to the Arduino. Still a great product, I will buy again.
