few weeks now. After setting up my dining room, I bought it. When I opened the box, I realized I made the right decision based on the aesthetics. I installed it myself. It was very easy and didn't take more than 15 minutes. So here's my experience: Pros: Great light! It looks great above my dining table. My new dining room is furnished in a rustic style. I followed the sizing guidelines on several design websites and chose a size three fixture. I hung it using all 3 rods and it's the perfect height above a table with an 8ft ceiling. Cons (and there are many): Once I installed the light, I saw a few things I hadn't noticed before. 2 of 3 porcelain lamp bases were noticeably bent. When I lit her lightbulbs, it only got worse. I tried to bend the porcelain carefully but as mentioned in another review I was afraid of breaking it. There was a dent in the center of the metal "lampshade". It's quite noticeable as it's on the front of the lamp. The short rod that goes into the central metal "screen" is also curved. I tried again, carefully bending it into the desired shape. He didn't move because of the situation. The shipping boxes were also undamaged. There is clearly no quality control. The lamp was packed very securely: styrofoam, in the product box, in the protective box (both fit exactly), in the shipping box with the protective padding. I called Revain and they got it right. They send a replacement lamp. I also ordered Edison bulbs in two different wattages, a 40w amber and a 60w clear. The maximum power of this lamp is 60 watts. The use of Edison bulbs was the main reason I chose this light. I was dying to have a mount where I could use it! With these lamps, the light level in the room is too low. That would be great for a romantic dinner, but it's the only lighting I have in the dining room. We use the room for things other than food (laptop etc) and the view is not acceptable. :( I'm all about design and fashion, but in this case I have to deal with functionality first. I have to use regular lightbulbs, which takes away a good reason for this lamp. I can put it in another UPDATE: Revain took care of problems I had with the original lamp and sent a new one. the metal parts of the lamp looked great. However, all the glass "lampshades" were broken. I just used the lampshades from the first lamp and after about - 5 minutes the lamp was installed and it looked amazing! I would suggest getting LED lamps I'm impressed with how much extra light they give. I'm also changing my rating from 2 stars to 4. The light is great and the customer service is great from Revain even better!
