When I finally started getting results, they were great. But up to this point it was trial and error. Although they come in a bottle with an applicator, I don't recommend applying directly from the bottle. You end up wasting more dye than you need. The first two times I've used this reactive dye, it washed out of my shirts despite following the instructions verbatim. I ended up going to Walmart and getting some cheap brushes and applying the paint like this. If this is the method you're going to use, don't follow it blindly like I did. And the last thing to know is that cleaning is a pain, so invest in a pair of store-bought green boy pads and use them to properly clean any surface you die on. I use some cheap oven racks I bought from Dollar General and with a little elbow grease they almost look like I just brought them home. After all, it's more of a heavily diluted fabric paint than a fabric paint.
