Review on VTech Connect to Cell DS6771-3 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone - Black/Silver - Enhanced Mobility and Connectivity by Jeremy Hudson

I received the VTech DS6771-3 DECT 6.0 expandable system right after my order. My ancient telephone system is out of order. I can't use my cell phone in every corner of the house, so I'm in dire need of a replacement. Fast delivery was great. Installation was quick and easy and I was happy to see that everything worked as promised. Also, the sound is cleaner than the old system I replaced. But... there are some problems: 1. The sealed package was incomplete. Although a wireless headset (or at least part of it) was included, there was no battery for it. It's useless now. I don't find it possible to order a replacement battery for my wireless headset and would rather not spend $40 on a new separate battery. I can't return the entire Revain system for a replacement as that would leave me home without my phone for too long, so I'm sticking with this unfinished system.2. As I have already reported, my mobile phone connected without any problems. It will be nice to just keep a phone with me and have cell phone access in the secluded corners of my basement. However, the contact list on my Samsung S10 phone failed to load. Despite promises, you have to manually enter your contact list.3. Additional phones requested on a separate order should be delivered today. I have now learned that this may be delayed by a further three days. Tubes cannot be renamed. I have to remember that #1 is the base system, #2 is the kitchen, soon #3... and so on. I've only had the system for 2.5 days. I can't give any information on the durability and will change this rating if necessary. As mentioned, the system is fine, but there are some issues. That's why I can't give this purchase a high rating. If you don't care about headsets, if you don't mind manually entering contacts, and if you don't mind potentially long delays in ordering and waiting for additional handsets, then this system is fine. If it's important, you can look elsewhere.
