So I bought this not so much as a stand but to hold my computer's lid open. When it's fully open my cats step on it, when it's partially closed the cats close the computer. This works exactly how I wanted it. It has different tiers and we keep it in the lowest open position when in use and when not in use it's just too flat and compact.
