Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

After trying out the original AirPods, I decided to go with them. After two to two and a half years, the battery in an Apple headphone will no longer hold a charge and will need to be thrown out. Thus, I decided to get a new one with an eye toward long-term use and the option to upgrade the battery; my thoughts are based on a comparison with the Apple model. Ergonomics. The size of this model isn't a deal breaker for me because they stay put in my ears and don't actively want to fall out (I'm 183 cm tall). There is not even a scratch on the casing (without a cover, regular use). Since recharging the headphones isn't necessary very often, you can toss the case inside a backpack rather than a loose pair of pants' pocket. The touch buttons are responsive (with a tiny lag when switching settings), but occasionally misinterpret user input (for example: with the back of the hand). You also can't afford to lie on your side with them. Ears can get irritated and fatigued after prolonged use (as with all plugs). Sound. For someone like me who isn't an audiophile, the sound quality of the AirPods is excellent. At first, I used headphones with my iPhone SE, and I noticed that the sound broke, cracked, and wheezed at extremely low and extremely high frequencies, which is not how I remember it being before. I did not have these issues on any of my other devices (Android, Mac, PC). While the default, noise reduction, and transparency settings all function normally, the standard setting is what you'll want to use when the wind picks up. They do not, however, support ldac or aptx. Even with the bass turned up to eleven on the equalizer, they still have trouble with extremely low frequencies, but in most cases they provide outstanding overall detail. Depending on the bluetooth module in these gadgets, they may be able to provide little desynchronization. There were no problems reported with the microphone, so I assume it is functioning well.

Pros
  • Maintains its charge over an extended period. They stay put securely in the ear. A standard method of soundproofing. Excellent program that lets you adjust the volume and the buttons. A reliable link with high-quality audio.
Cons
  • This is a large and cumbersome case. In comparison to the competition, these headphones are somewhat bulky. The actions of buttons cannot be customized in great detail (only presets). A lack of aptx and ldac support.
