This is great unless you are restoring a 30 year old used shoe that has been damaged. Use a warm water cap and brush to blend and apply. It basically cleanses and nourishes the skin; although I would still recommend finding a good conditioner to use later (after it dries) when it needs more maintenance. The most important advice I can give is to be careful with overlapping panels and have a lint free rag handy, preferably just for such tasks and ready for cleaning after use.
