Standard Motor Products LX-401 not compatible with 1977 AMC Jeep CJ-5 304 V8
I purchased this Standard Motor Products LX-401 ignition module for my 1977 Jeep CJ-5 304 V8 for whose website this is stated module is compatible. The product was delivered later than expected and only arrived after I had left the country for Europe for a month. When I came back I installed the module but it didn't work and the engine wouldn't fire. I installed the old/original module and the engine ran fine. Reinstalled this new module and it works again with "dropouts". expired.
