Good design, good for lamps and lampshades
The thing is surprisingly strong. Obviously the marble on the bottom adds weight, but the metal parts are also quite thick and well made. It comes with a weird yellow/orange lightbulb, but it's easy to turn off. It doesn't extend as far as I thought it would, and you can't change the up angle as much as I was hoping. Essentially what's shown in the images is the highest angle - you can tilt it further down but not up unless you rotate it to face the ceiling. However, it is a beautiful lamp that serves my purpose and decor well.
