It has holes which render the filter unusable

I chose this option after seeing several other similar filters with holes in the plastic part to allow air to bypass the filter itself. These filters also have holes. They are useless as they are. I add masking tape to cover the holes but I don't understand their meaning. Do not use these perforated filters as they will allow dust and debris to pass through the vacuum motor and cause problems. 0/5, do not buy.
