I chose to attach because I thought it would be quick and easy. NOT CORRECT. NONE of the included screws were long enough to reach the headrest. I have an Infinity QX56 and used to attach it to the rear seats to block out the cargo area. I got it to work without following the instructions. I rotated it back so the bars were closer to the headrest and THEN hooked it in before I started tightening it. Also added side mounts AFTER the main body was put on. AN IMPORTANT INFO: This is only adjustable in the sense that you are flexible on where you attach the side panels. It doesn't slip or stick. So once you get the right size, trust me, you won't want to take it apart. ALSO. REMEMBER IF YOU HAVE CAPTAIN SEATS THEY HAVE NO PART TO BLOCK THE PUPPIES FROM PASSING UNDER THE GRILLE. I used a sun visor to close the gap. In the end, after longer screws and assembling according to the instructions, everything worked out, but it was damn annoying. Excellent quality but certainly there are a few design flaws.
