Great compact hob with a modern and stylish look. This is a black two-burner stove. The finish has a glass finish but comes with specific cleaning instructions and cleaning supplies to ensure you don't damage/scratch the finish. Aesthetically, this thing is very attractive. the upper part is flat and shiny. The handles are unobtrusive and seem to belong with all other modern devices. Each button has a white line showing which burner you are turning on and this also adds to the modern look/design. There are three lights between the handles. 2 lights indicate each burner is on and a third light indicates the surface is still hot. This is a great feature, alerting you that even though the burners are off, the hob surface is still hot and you still need to be careful. Great feature. The working principle of this hob is that it has the same electric burners, but just under the modern glass surface. It heats up quickly and I can boil water in just a few minutes. See photos. I was hesitant to order this product as I was concerned there would not be enough space between the burners for 2 pots/pans etc but as you can see from the photos it has enough space for two cookware. In the picture I have a medium sized skillet and a small saucepan so 2 pieces of cookware should fit nicely. Keep in mind this is a 2 burner hob and as you can see from the photos we could easily fit 4 burners but we didn't need it and wanted a cleaner, more compact look. This hob meets all requirements. We installed this hob professionally so I can't comment on the installation but I CAN tell you that you can install it left to right or top to bottom depending on the space on your countertop. We installed it from left to right (as shown in the pictures). In addition, the hob occupies a few centimeters below the worktop, so you cannot put a drawer under it. All hobs have this in common. When we remodeled our kitchen I bought most of the items on Amazon so I will try to write reviews with photos of these items. You can browse them to see if these items are right for you. Overall, this device performs exceptionally well, providing the looks, functionality and necessity we were looking for.
