When we bought these we thought we could easily switch from 'warm' to 'daylight' but that's it really a decision you have to make when you install them (in the ceiling box) - once they're installed that's it - unless you go back to the actual ceiling light box to change it - apart of being happy with the lights - we installed them in a super modern kitchen and wanted something that just blended in (ie not too big and flashy) - they are just the right size for us.
