Lowered the rating to 4 because it is already sticky, although I cooked according to the instructions. I have never had an above average stove top temperature when using this pan. In fact, I consider it about 3/4 of the way from boiling to medium. The first 4 times everything was fine. then things started sticking to the ground. I use dehydrated pancakes soaked in water for about 20 minutes then I put them in the pan and when I went back to check if they needed to be flipped some of the pancakes were already stuck to the bottom. the potatoes are still moist and most of them are not even browned. So now I use an olive oil coating when I use it and things still stick. I like the frying pan, but it's not "non-stick". My brother-in-law has now informed me that he has the same problem.
