Silicone/plastic in the teapot!
Expensive stainless steel kettle. Visited their website and read that there are no chemicals/toxins in your water. What they do NOT tell you is that there is a silicone ring surrounding a temperature sensor, which I can only assume is. I was very excited to get this as I cut the plastic from everyday use as much as possible. They don't tell you that and I honestly thought I had done my extensive research. Very very disappointed. It feels like I wasted my money on a point that isn't quite true. Hope this helps others!
