Review on Mobius Ruppert Artists Pencil Sharpener Painting, Drawing & Art Supplies by Sasha Hsiao

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's worth finally getting a working pencil sharpener!

I have ordered 2 different M&R pencil sharpeners from Revain. Double Brass Round Sharpener and Magnesium Triangular Pencil Sharpener 3. $10 or $12 may seem expensive for a manual pencil sharpener. I can't tell you how many pencil sharpeners I've bought over the years. I've spent over $10 or $12 over the years to find something that works well. These sharpeners are worth their price. Both shapes are comfortable to hold - in part because the blades are sharp enough to make it easy to turn the pencil. I think the blunter blades of many sharpeners require more force to turn the pencil, which requires a tighter grip on the sharpener. Sharpening them is very easy. The 2-hole brass hole fits standard sized pencils and the larger hole is perfect for CARAN d'ACHE colored pencils. Triangular has 3 holes with 3 different blade lengths for short and long points. If you like the new "Adult" coloring pages, you will love them! I am very satisfied with both M&R sharpeners.
